Hotel Junior Kuppanna

5

My uncle is a big fan of this restaurant and he took us for a lunch here. We were a group of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed the food, it is simply mouth-watering fare and amazingly prepared with terrific flavors which explode in your mouth.

The place is simple and super clean. Not too many bells and whistles here.

We started with Mutton Pallipalayam, Pallipalayam Chicken and Chicken Chukka. The chicken chukka here is a must try, God i was craving for this taste. The quality of chicken they use here is excellent. So tender that the taste is even. The Pallipalayam dishes were spicy and the spice levels had us drinking glasses of water but it did not stop us from eating.

For the main course we ordered Egg Veech Parottas, Ghee Parottas, Natti Chicken Gravy, Mutton Nalli Gravy, Mutton Biryani and Chicken Biryani.

The biryani tasted so good, the gravy which was served along with the biryani was really tasty. Loved every bit of it. The egg veech parottas and paroatts were simply awesome, the fluff and the crunch and the taste is sheerly addictive and we ended up licking our fingers.

The menu does not end here, they have meals and varieties of seafood, which I plan to hog on next time.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. I think the price here is slightly on the higher side for the quantity being offered but considering the quality and the taste, its ok. If you are a non-veg junkie and believe that dishes need to touch the spicy part of the taste buds in your tongue then Junior Kuppanna is a must visit.

Nice Soundarya.. Its our Kongu Community cuisine milder decent version with Homely service.. You need to try the quail fry and curry with their JK Parotta.. Its lovely..beer or wine appetizer in a pub opp to the hotel would be fine before meal...
